Dr Ritu Laiker did her MBBS, MD(Dermatology,Venerology & Leprology) from prestigious institute of Punjab, Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana in 1993. She did her research work (thesis) under the guidance of teachers of her own college and country”s most prestigious institute, All India Institute of Medical Sciences{AIIMS}, New Delhi. she presented her research work in national conference of specialty under the umbrella of of IADVL(Indian Association Of Dermatologist, Venereologist & Leprologist) at Chennai. Dr. Ritu started her professional carrier with special interest in cosmetic dermatology with application of LASERS & IPL technology. After getting exposure and experience under the leading cosmetic laser dermatologist and cosmetic microvascular dermatosurgeons, she started her own high-tech, state of art SKIN CLINIC AND LASER CENTRE in 1999 & is running this highly advanced and well equipped centre in collaboration with axis skin clinic and laser center successfully for last 22 years.
Dr. Ritu Laiker is pioneer in northern India to introduce application of Lasers, IPL, Radio Surgery and other combinations of highly advanced technology in dermatology and cosmetology. This skin clinic & laser centre has established as the leader in the field of clinical dermatology,cosmetic dermatology with application of LASERS, IPL, RADIOFREQUENCY and other highly advanced latest technology based equipment.
At international & national platform, she is active participant in specialty to work for further advancement in Dermatology,specially in Cosmetic Dermatology and Dermatosurgery, with application of LASERS,LHE(LIGHT HEAT ENERGY)IPL ,RADIOFREQUENCY BASED EQUIMENT and combination of more then one technology to improve results.
Dr. Ritu Laiker is amongst the few dermatologist in country, who has taken initiative to do dermatosurgery for various skin ailment,where medical treatment alone is not sufficient and result oriented.
