Dr Ritu Laiker did her MBBS, MD (Dermatology, Venerology & Leprology) from the prestigious institute of Punjab, Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana in 1993. She did her research work (thesis) under the guidance of teachers of her own college and the country’s most prestigious institute, All India Institute of Medical Sciences{AIIMS}, New Delhi. She presented her research work at the national conference of dermatology. Dr. Ritu started her professional carrier with a special interest in cosmetic dermatology with the application of LASERS & IPL technology.

After getting exposure and experience under the leading cosmetic laser dermatologist and cosmetic microvascular dermato surgeons, she started her own high-tech, state-of-the-art AXIS SKIN CLINIC AND LASER CENTRE in 1999 & is running this highly advanced and well-equipped center.

Dr. Ritu Laiker is a pioneer in northern India to introduce the application of Lasers, IPL, Radio Surgery and other combinations of highly advanced technology in dermatology and cosmetology. This skin clinic & laser center has been established as the leader in the field of clinical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.

On international & national platforms, she is an active participant in specialty to work for further advancement in Dermatology, especially in Cosmetic Dermatology and Dermatosurgery, with the application of LASERS, LHE(LIGHT HEAT ENERGY) IPL, RADIOFREQUENCY BASED EQUIPMENT and combination of more than one technology to improve results.

Dr. Ritu Laiker is amongst the few dermatologists in the country, who have taken the initiative to do dermato surgery for various skin ailments, where medical treatment alone is not sufficient and result oriented.
